Like a blend of The Gladiator and touch of J.K. Rowling, this middle grade novel tells the story of Mark Anthony and the love of his life, Jasmin during medieval times. Love, honor, betrayal and war, this story takes the young reader through an adventure with swashbuckling highs and deep emotional lows. There is even a love triangle that makes the reader wonder: can you really trust someone you love and when that love is tested will, they pass the test? Enough adventure for the boys, love story for the girls and values that parents will love.
So, for a short story, I really loved it. Battles, Death, Love, action, humor, loved it!!!!! I hate to say it, but would make a great Disney movie... Anyway, Loved it and thought the storyline was facinating. Its a fun read and I hope everyone likes it as much as I did.
